Choosing the Right Portable Toilet
For most construction sites, a cold water chemical toilet is the go-to — fully self-contained, no connections required, and straightforward to position wherever it’s needed as your project develops. Where HSE welfare guidelines require forearm washing facilities, our hot water portable chemical toilet delivers temperature-controlled water at 40–43°C and is available in 110V and 240V to suit your site supply.
If your site has access to mains water, drainage, and electricity, a mains connected portable toilet offers a fully flushing porcelain toilet with hot running water and no chemical servicing — the closest thing to a permanent facility in a portable format. For projects on multi-storey buildings, tunnels, or shafts where standard delivery isn’t possible, our LOLER-certified lifting frame with portable toilet is the only practical solution.
HSE Welfare Compliance
The Health and Safety Executive requires adequate toilet and washing facilities for all construction sites. As a minimum, this means one toilet per seven workers with appropriate hand washing provision.
